PK69622: IMPROVE RENDERING OF CONTENT WITH A HIGH NUMBER OF ELEMENTS BY LAZY-LOADING ELEMENTS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Slow performance when rendering content with many elements. This
  might be noticeable when rendering a menu of content items that
  contain many elements of any type.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When rendering a Content element, all elements for that content
  are retrieved and transformed, even if those elements are not to
  be rendered. This is a performance hit. It is particularly
  noticeable when rendering menu results that reference elements.
  

Problem conclusion

• This fix allows Content elements to be lazy-loaded during
  rendering. If the number of elements on a Content exceeds a
  limit, elements are loaded individually as they are requested.
  The limit can be configured by setting the
  "max.elements.before.partial.load" configuration property in
  WCMConfigService.properties. The default value is 10 which will
  be acceptable for most installations.
