The WebContainer makes an application available for requests
before fully initializing it. As a result, if a request is
received for an application during startup of the
application a small timing window exists in which the request
will receive an unexpected 500 error as a result of a null
pointer exception:

Problem conclusion

The WebContainer has been updated to not make an application
available for requests until it is fully initialized. As a
result, a request received during initialization of the
application will always receive a 404 error.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpacks 6.0.2.33 and 6.1.0.21. Please refer to the
