Rollup Multiplatform 8.4.0.2 fixpack 2. The supplied sample ars.cache had a garbage first line. This was interpreted as an HFS directory to use for the cache. 3. Depending on how it is invoked, the .ind, .res, and .out files may be the only extant copy of the customers data, and it is ambiguous if it is safe for aARSLOAD to delete those files. In those cases, ARSLOAD, when an error occurs, does not delete the .ind, .res, and .out. In the case of processing from the JES SPOOL, this causes the temporary directory to fill up. 4. When constructing the CREATE INDEX SQL, a blank was omitted between the BUFFERPOOL and the value supplied by ARSMVS_BPOOL_INDEX, causing invalid SQL to be created. 5. For OnDemand Distribution Facility customers operating in subtask mode, output files for document prints or distributions will be dynamically allocated with unique DD names to support multiple tasks running concurrently. 6. When using ODWEK Java API, ODServer initialization based on ODConfig() fails if alternate mount point is used.
Problem conclusion
Temporary fix
Comments
1. Rollup Multiplatform 8.4.0.2 fixpack 2. The garbage first line is removed from the sample ars.cache 3. In the case of processing from the JES spool, if an error occurs during the load phase, ARSLOAD will put a system hold on the spool file. In this specific case, it is safe for arsload to delete the .ind, .res, and .out files. ARSLOAD is changed to delete the .ind, .out, and .res if an error occurs during the load phase, and it is processing JES SPOOL files. 4. A blank is properly inserted between the BUFFERPOOL and the value. 5. For OnDemand Distribution Facility customers operating in subtask mode, output files for document prints or distributions will be dynamically allocated with unique DD names to support multiple tasks running concurrently. 6. The proper locale setting is used during ODServer initialization. ž**** AE08/07/22 FIX IN ERROR. SEE APAR PK69428 FOR DESCRIPTION
