Error description

• Receive a DFHPI0002 error code x'0508' in DFHPITH responding to
  a PIPELINE Request coming in from a Client. DFHPITH receives an
  PURGED with reason(TIMED_OUT). The transaction had a DTIMEOUT
  value set for 30 seconds. Once this value is exceeded the PURGED
  request was executed for the transaction causing the DFHPI0002
  X'0508' to occur and creat a system dump.

  CICS should not be taking a System Dump for this error.

  CICS is acting as a web service provider. If there is a delay
  in CICS sending a response back to the client, the send may
  time out if DTIMOUT has been set for the transaction.
  DFHPITH has no special handling for TIMED_OUT, so a message
  DFHPI0002 with a system dump is unnecessarily taken.
  Customer felt this was excessive for a timeout.

  expected to be delivered from IBM in a release which is being
