PK65274: BROADCAST TO OTHER PORTAL PAGE DOES NOT USE UNIQUE PAGE NAMES TO TARGET PORTAL PAGE

APAR status

Error description

• Remote rendering portlet broadcast to other portal page does not
  use unique page names to target portal page.
  
  Currently the portlet will only store the page id. This will
  work perfectly well on the same portal system, but it will fail
  when the portlet configuration is exported (using xmlaccess) and
  imported into another environment (e.g a subscriber ). The page
  Id will not be maintained on the imported pages. Only the unique
  page names remain the same.

Problem conclusion

• Update the remote rendering portlet to store both the unique
  name and page Id during configuration. At render time if a
  unique name is defined then that is used to retrieve the
  ObjectId and to generate the page URL.
