  combining XMLQUERY with XMLAGG functions in a query.
  
  For example:
  
  Following query combines XMLQUERY with XMLAGG.
  
    SELECT
      XMLQUERY(
       'fn:count($x//students/student/classes/class)'
        passing XMLAGG(college_student_teacher_xml) as "x")
    FROM college_XML;
  
  The performance improvement might not be applied to this query.
  

Problem conclusion
