  PK55585 and PK55831 introduce
  13 more XPath functions: fn:name, fn:local-name,
  fn:max,fn:min,fn:distinct-values,fn:upper-case,fn:lower-case,
  fn:translate,fn:last,fn:position,fn:matches,fn:replace,
  fn:tokenize.  The changes are documented in the latest
  version of the XML Guide (SC18-9858-03).
  PK55585 is the preconditioning APAR.
  
  Example 1: fn:tokenize breaks /a into a sequence of strings,
    treating any substring that matches (ab) or (a) as a
    separator.  The separators are not returned.
