Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: DB2 users of REBIND PACKAGE who intend       *
  *                 to utilize new function introduced in        *
  *                 enabling APAR PK52523.                       *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR pre-conditions DB2 to handle  *
  *                      multiple package copies created by      *
  *                      enabling APAR PK52523.                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  This pre-conditioning APAR PK52522
  causes DB2 to delete old copies of
  packages that are created via
  enabling APAR PK52523. These copies
  are deleted when they become invalid
  as a result of changes made to the
  database. If the new function has not
  been used, all changes in this APAR
  are transparent to the user.
