    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When servlet serving by class name is enabled and a null
    (empty) servlet name is specified, a missing logic check will
    cause a NullPointerException to be thrown.

Problem conclusion

  • The servlet name logic checking has been fixed to prevent a
    NullPointerException from being thrown. In the case that a
    null (empty) servlet name is specified, a "no target for URI"
    exception will be thrown.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
    in fixpack 6.0.2.13 and 6.1.0.1.
