    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: java.io.StreamCorruptedException is     *
    * thrown when data replication service *
    * receives the message from peer server *
    * and tries to deserialize the cache *
    * object in the message. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    java.io.StreamCorruptedException is thrown when the data
    replication service receives the message from peer server
    and tries to deserialize the cache object in the message.
    The serialization utility does not handle this
    StreamCorrupted exception.

Problem conclusion

  • During deserialization of cache object, the code was modified
    to handle StreamCorrupted exception with the same logic as
    ClassNotFound exception. It is using different classloader to
    deserialize.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
    in fixpack 6.0.2.13 and 6.1.0.1.
