PK20300: APAR ADDRESSES VARIOUS PROBLEMS IN THE TAPE MANAGER FOR Z/VM V1R2 GA

APAR status

Error description

• A mis-labeled volume mounted following a TAPEREQ MOD NOVOL was
  not handled correctly causing the mount to time out.
  .
  Pool threshold exception messages generated as the result of a
  command being sent to requestor for the TAPEMNT command where
  the messages should have been suppressed.
  .
  Syntax errors found in the code that was modified for TAPEREQ
  MOD NOVOL processing
  .
  Tape drive display was not cleared after an 'unload and retry'
  condition occurred
  .
  A volume that was in the 'scratch mounted' list was ignored if
  it was not scratch but it was not removed from the list
  .
  A pre-mounted standard label volume was unloaded after a TAPEMNT
  SL PRE command was issued when the volume should have been
  directly assigned
  .
  The TAPELIB command fails with 'library not found' when
  configuring alibrary offline
  .
  An error message was not sent to the requestor when a tape mount
  failed because PRE was specified and the volume was not
  pre-mounted
  .
  Message EUM392I was modified to include the word "percent" in
  order to improve the clarity of the message
  .
  An error message was not being sent to the requestor when a tape
  mount failed because the attach ID was not logged on or not
  defined to the system
  .
  The sample profile execs for the Tape Manager service machines
  contained extraneous link statements for the 400 disk. The
  statements were removed
