APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Using Process Task Manager for Case Analyzer, when adding a data
    field of datetime data type as a dimension and defined ranges
    for the dimension,  adding the data field failed with error
    message.
    
    Below exception is reported in the pesvr_trace.log

    The SQL exception indicates Conversion failed while converting
    string to date and / or time.
    Datetime formats in SQL issued by CPE might be invalid in
    Japanese environments.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in 5.2.1.7-P8CaseFoundation-FP007 and later. Defining
    ranges for a user defined datetime field in Case Analyzer
    Process Task Manager was resolved by handling date time formats
    based on locale.
