PJ41279: AN OPR- 6F1 DUMP CAN OCCUR DURING A DEBUG SESSION.
Closed as program error.
See Problem Summary.
APAR NUMBER: PJ41279 PRODUCT: z/TPF FUNCTIONAL AREA: DEBUG TOOL SUPPORT SHIPPED IN PUT: 10 ABSTRACT: A CTL-4 or OPR-6F1 may occur when viewing large expressions in the debugger of over 2058 bytes in size. PACKAGE CONTENTS: Source Segments: None. Object Only Binaries: (C) base/oco/load/CUD2.so (C) base/oco/lib/libCUD2.so Configuration Independent Binaries: None. Support Files: None. OTHER BINARIES TO BUILD: NO None. COMMENTS: Internal structures in the debugger expression evaluation code do not correctly process large expressions. For example, if a large portion of the screen is highlighted and the mouse is hovered over the highlighted selection, the debugger may send this in as an expression request.
SOLUTION: Because expressions of such large size are unexpected, they are rejected with an appropriate return code. CUD2 is updated to correct this behavior. COREQS: NO None. MIGRATION CONSIDERATIONS: NO None. BUILD COMMANDS AND INSTRUCTIONS: NO None. UPDATED INFORMATION UNITS: NO None. See your IBM representative if you need additional information.
