PJ41132: PROGRAM ERROR IN CPSE AFTER LOCKC TIMEOUT IN CCSTOR
Closed as program error.
See Problem Summary.
APAR NUMBER: PJ41132 PRODUCT: z/TPF FUNCTIONAL AREA: MACRO PROCESSING SHIPPED IN PUT: 10 ABSTRACT: A PROGRAM ERROR IN CCCPSE might occur when trying to dump system heap. PACKAGE CONTENTS: Source Segments: (C) base/cp/cics.cpy Object Only Binaries: None. Configuration Independent Binaries: None. Support Files: None. OTHER BINARIES TO BUILD: YES (C) <sys>/obj/ccnucl.o (C) <sys>/load/CPS0.so COMMENTS: When dumping system heap storage, a 'PROGRAM CHECK IN CCCPSE' might occur. This is because a CTL-572 (00572 system error) dump is occurring when trying to get the system heap lock on the main I-stream. The MOVEC processing in cics.cpy is getting the system heap lock but is not masked for interrupts. This allows CPSE to interrupt the processing when the lock is being held.
SOLUTION: MOVEC processing will now mask the system for external and PER interrupts when getting the system heap lock. COREQS: NO None. MIGRATION CONSIDERATIONS: NO None. BUILD COMMANDS AND INSTRUCTIONS: YES #maketpf commands for linux maketpf -f CPS0 ccnucl.o maketpf CPS0 link UPDATED INFORMATION UNITS: NO None.
