  The ZACRS command should not allow the 1052 alternate PRC to be
  defined to the same SDA that the 1052 PRC is currently using.
  This APAR corrects APAR PJ31181.

  COMMENTS:
  The ZACRS command should not allow the alternate PRC to be
  defined to the same SDA that the PRC is currently using. The
  "ZACRS FBK" command with the "SUB" parameter will allow an
  operator to change the fallback address for which the TPF
  system will attempt to use when doing 1052 PRC fallback
  processing. The problem is that there is no check in the
  current processing of this command to prevent the operator from
  defining the same subchannel address to the alternate PRC for
  which the system PRC is currently using. If the operator
  subsequently attempts to validate the new 1052 alternate PRC
  device by using the "ZACRS FBK" command with the "OPT-VAL"
  parameter, the processing of the validation will dismount the
  device after it has been validated, which has the harmful
  repercussion of disconnecting the system PRC, thus leaving the
  system without a Prime CRAS console.
  

Problem conclusion

• SOLUTION:
  Real-time segment CVPX, which processes the "ZACRS FBK" command
  for the 1052 PRC fallback processing, has been modified to
  ensure that if the "SUB" parameter is included in the command,
  the address specified is not the same as the address that is
  currently being used as the PRC device address. If the address
  specified is the same, then the command is rejected with a new
  ACRS0041E error message.
