Base Object Changed obj/oco/cuix40.o PJ25780(09) PJ26156(10) PJ26379(11) PJ26393(12) PJ27023(12) PJ27779(15) PJ31240(21) PJ35499(24) PJ36153(24) COMMENTS: A TPF WebSphere MQ Fast Sender channel, (NPMSPEED-FAST) when sending a heartbeat, will not detect a communications error. When the sender channel attempts to send a heartbeat, if an error is returned, the error is never checked resulting in no heartbeat being sent. The Heartbeat monitor will then continually attempt to send a heartbeat, without detecting the network error. If messages arrive on the transmission queue, the channel will detect the network error when attempting to send the batch, resulting in the channel restarting.
SOLUTION: CUIX has been updated to check the return code from sending a heartbeat. If an error is detected sending a heartbeat, the sender channel will enter channel restart until communications can be re-established. DEPENDENCIES SEGMENTS TO BE ASSEMBLED OR COMPILED: None.
