Closed as program error.
See Problem Summary.
APAR NUMBER: PJ40859 PRODUCT: z/TPF FUNCTIONAL AREA: FIND/FILE MACRO SUPPORT SHIPPED IN PUT: 10 ABSTRACT: VSAM indices are not properly populated in VFA. PACKAGE CONTENTS: Source Segments: (C) base/cp/cefj.cpy Object Only Binaries: None. Configuration Independent Binaries: None. Support Files: None. OTHER BINARIES TO BUILD: YES (C) <sys>/obj/ccfadc.o (C) <sys>/load/CPS0.so COMMENTS: When a general dataset record (GDS) is found the GDS control area (DSC) is accessed using the GDS token in the file reference word. The code in the GDS find support paths is not using the proper field to access the GDS token, which is causing VSAM finds to not be treated as VFA candidates.
SOLUTION: Segment cefj.cpy of CSECT CCFADC was updated, after label CFJFIN60, to access the correct GDS token value and use field MIOMCHR of the IOB. COREQS: NO None. MIGRATION CONSIDERATIONS: NO None. BUILD COMMANDS AND INSTRUCTIONS: YES #maketpf commands for linux maketpf -f CPS0 ccfadc.o maketpf CPS0 link UPDATED INFORMATION UNITS: NO None.
