PJ40851: FSM CORE CLIENT INSTALLER ISSUE FOR P8 4.X/5.X CONFIGURATION. CE PRODUCT TAB LOWER PARAMETER FIELDS ARE INACTIVE

APAR status

Error description

• In the IBM FSM Core Client Installer, within the "Configure IBM
  FileNet 4.x and 5.x" configuration section, if you go to the
  "Product" tab, then the "Content Engine" sub-tab, you cannot
  edit the parameter fields in the lower section below the "Name"
  and "Web Environment" fields.  The text fields are greyed out
  and non-editable.
  

Local fix

• On the "Content Engine" subtab under the "Product" tab, switch
  the "Web Environment" dropdown to some other value, then back to
  the one that you want.  If there is no other web environment,
  just create a dummy "Web Environment" first, and use that one to
  toggle to, then back to the appropriate one.  On the , set the
  "Web Environment" dropdown to the dummy web environment.  After
  do this, the fields should be editable.
