File Manager has been enhanced to support the use of a template repository which serves as a catalog of data set names and their associated templates. After applying this PTF an administrator can define the template to be used for a data set in a VSAM repository file. This file can then be used to retrieve the template - removing the need to know the template name associated with the data set.
