PI98283: Setting preserveJsonObjectPayloadOrder="true" is not honored for z/OS Connect EE APIs.

APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible in next release.

Error description

• The APAR PI94737 fix ensures that the
  preserveJsonObjectPayloadOrder="true" is honored by API Tooolkit
  defined services. After the PI94737 fix, it is still possible
  for APIs to not honor the preserveJsonObjectPayloadOrder="true"
  setting.
  

Local fix

• If z/OS Connect EE V3.0.9.0 or later is in use, invoking a
  service before the API is invoked will cause
  preserveJsonObjectPayloadOrder="true" to be honoured.

  Setting of preserveJsonObjectPayloadOrder="true" in the
  zosconnect_zosConnectManager element of the server.xml did
  not always preserve the order of the JSON properties as they
  were originally specified. This resulted in the JSON objects
  being returned in a different order. This is not the correct
  behaviour.
  APAR PI94737 resolved this issue for services, but not APIs.

• z/OS Connect EE has been changed so that the setting of
  preserveJsonObjectPayloadOrder="true" for APIs is honored by the
  z/OS Connect EE server.
  
  The fix for this APAR is expected to be delivered by the PTF for
  z/OS Connect EE V3.0.15.0 (PH04447).
