    * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application *
    *                  Server using a non-transactional            *
    *                  datasource                                  *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using a non-transactional          *
    * datasource, the autocommit value was *
    * not reset back to the default jdbc *
    *                      driver value.                           *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    For non-transactional datasource, if the autocommit value is
    set by the application that is different then the default, the
    autocommit value last set by the application will continue to
    be used. This is not correct behavoir and the autocommit
    value now is reset back to the default jdbc driver value.

Problem conclusion

  • The automcommit value is reset back to the default jdbc driver
    value for non-transactional datasources.
