PI90149: DOCUMENTATION APPEARS FROM ANOTHER MODEL ELEMENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Steps to reproduce:
  
  1. Create a model with a UseCase diagram, and add a UC and an
  Actor to the diagram
  2. Select the Actor on the diagram select Properties >
  Documentation
  3. Type "Actor doc"
  4. Save
  
  5. Select the UseCase. In properties view, type "UseCase doc"
  6. Go to General tab of the UseCase
  7. Select the Actor on the diagram
  8. In Properties view, click on Documentation tab.
  
  Result: The documentation text of the Actor is now changed from
  "Actor doc" to "UseCase doc"
  
  Workaround: Don't go to the General tab after adding
  documentation.

Problem conclusion

• "When user edits an element's documentation in properties view
  and switches to another tab and then select another element and
  switches back to the documentation, the first elements edited
  documentation is shown due to issues in the initialization
  between the tab switching.
  
  Now, proper initialization of the documentation while switching
  the tabs addresses the issue."
