    * The default is NO. *
    ****************************************************************
This APAR enables the MCP task to store portions of the internal
control blocks related to occurrences and operations in a
data space, rather than in storage, during the modify current
    plan actions.
In this way less storage is needed to manage the networks.
This feature is optional and can be activated by setting the
    MCPDATASPACE(YES) in the JTOPTS statement.
    (Default is NO).

Comments

  • This APAR causes the MCP task to store portions of internal
control blocks that are related to occurrences and operations,
in a data space rather than in storage.
In this way, less storage is required to manage the networks.
If you have set the CPBPLIM parameter in the OPCOPTS statement,
you might need to decrease the specifed value.
Two new serviceability messages (EQQMC07I and EQQMC08I) are
provided to monitor the storage usage.
This feature is optional and can be activated by setting the
    MCPDATASPACE(YES) in the JTOPTS statement.
    (Default is NO).
You are also provided with two modify commands (MCPDSSTART
and MCPDSSTOP) to dinamically activate and deactivate the MCP
    data space usage.
