Error description

• If you import a BPMN model that was developed in a third-party
  application, and then attempt to open this model, IBM Rational
  Software Architect (RSA) will become unresponsive.  It will then
  be necessary to terminate RSA in order to open the model.
  
  This happens when the BPMN model in question contains elements
  whose "Name" property contains carriage return or line feed
  characters.  BPMN models without these types of characters do
  not have the problem.
  

Local fix

• Remove the carriage return or line feed from the elements' name
  prior to exporting the BPMN models from the third-party software
  modeling tool.

Problem conclusion
