    ****************************************************************
An ABEND04E RC00E70005 at DSNXRRID M107 or at DSNXRRP M700 can
occur when sort puts RIDs into a workfile or merges RIDs when
the RLF time limit is exceeded.

DB2 should return an SQLCODE error and message to the user
instead of ABENDing. For this error case, an SQLCODE905 or
-905 should be returned because the resource limit time is
    exceeded.

Please note, RID access can be identified from EXPLAIN as
    follows.

    1. List prefetch (the PLAN_TABLE PREFETCH column has a
       value 'L').

    2. Multiple index access (the PLAN_TABLE ACCESSTYPE column has
       a value 'M','MI', or 'MU').

Problem conclusion

  • DB2 has been modified to issue an SQLCODE -905 error and
message indicating that the resource limit time has been
    exceeded.

Please note that APAR PI81984 will be used for DB2 11 for z/OS
    to address this same issue.
