Error description

• The underscore character is not supported in symbol names in the
  PROFILE.TCPIP data set.

  Support for the underscore in MVS system symbols was added in
  z/OS Version 2 Release 2. The TCP/IP profile processing code did
  not support the underscore as a valid character in an MVS system
  symbol.
  

Problem conclusion

• TCP/IP code to process the profile data set has been updated to
  treat the underscore as a valid character in a MVS system
  symbol.
