  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enhances DB2z support for     *
  *                      accelerating queries to IBM DB2         *
  *                      Analytics Accelerator for z/OS on       *
  *                      DashDB in the following areas:          *
  *                      (1) Further improvements for the        *
  *                          offloading of these functions:      *
  *                          CHAR/VARCHAR/GRAPHIC/VARGRAPHIC     *
  *                          CAST(expr AS CHAR/VARCHAR/          *
  *                          GRAPHIC/VARGRAPHIC)                 *
  *                          with CODEUNITS specified            *
  *                      (2) Improved rewrites for               *
  *                          LCASE/LOWER/UCASE/UPPER with        *
  *                          two arguments and the second        *
  *                          argument is the length.             *
  *                      (3) DDL support for IDT.                *
  *                      (4) Fix for DSNXGRDS.DSNXEAB :M103      *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  This APAR enhances DB2z support for accelerating queries to
  IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS on DashDB in the
  following areas:
  (1) Further improvements for the following functions with
      CODEUNITS specified:
        CHAR/VARCHAR/GRAPHIC/VARGRAPHIC,
        CAST(expr AS CHAR/VARCHAR/GRAPHIC/VARGRAPHIC)
  (2) DashDB does not support the following:
        scalar function LCASE/LOWER/UCASE/UPPER, when there
        are only two parameters and the second parameter is
        a length instead of a locale name.
      The fix is to rewrite and offload with only the first
      parameter.
  (3) DDL support for IDT on IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator for
      z/OS on DashDB. Please refer to detailed information
      on IDT support in IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator V5.
  (4) Fix for DSNXGRDS.DSNXEAB :M103 when Enable with Failback
      acceleration is specified.
  (5) Improve for offloading AVG and COUNT functions:
        For AVG(), CAST the result returned from accelerator
            to INTEGER.
        For COUNT(), CAST the result returned from accelerator
            to INTEGER when the parameter is INTEGER or SMALLINT.
            CAST the result returned from accelerator to BIGINT
            when the parameter is BIGINT.
