Error description

  • Given the following variable declaration:
    01 DMH_VARIABLE PIC X(20) VALUE 'J\\ O \R G E \'.
    When searching for the literal value via the browser interface,
    Home > Literal summary, (at least) two matches would result
    because the escape value escaped the apostrophe and the picture
    clause was being attached to the literal string. For example:
          Sample: 'J O  G E PIC X(20)'
