  • FM/IMS encounters a loop during batch extract processing. This
may result in an AbendS322.

* USERS AFFECTED: All FM/IMS Extract and Print users.          *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Extract (IXB) using a criteria set or   *
*                      Print (IPR) using a view goes into an   *
*                      endless loop. The problem occurs when   *
*                      the criteria set or view has selection  *
*                      criteria on a dependent segment and     *
*                      FM/IMS converts the selection criteria  *
*                      into a qualified SSA.                   *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
