PI79207: CICS JVMSERVER IS GETTING DFHSJ0904, DFHSJ1004 & DFHSJ1006E MESSAGES 17/06/09 PTF PECHANGE

Error description

• The follow CICS log messages were received:
  
  DFHSJ0904 CICS1234 DFTCICS ???? MUWU DFHSJJI Exception
  'java.lang.RuntimeException' occurred creating object
  reference for class com.ibm.cicsts.axis2.json.
  
  DFHSJ1004 CICS1234 DFTCICS An exception has been thrown by the
  jvmServerWrapperEntry method of class
  com/ibm/cics/server/Wrapper running in JVMSERVER DFH$AXIS.
  Exception 'AJ05'.
  
  DFHDU0203I CICS1234 A transaction dump was taken for dumpcode:
  AJ05, Dumpid: 1/0017, Program: DFHSJJI.
  
  DFHSJ1006 E CICS1234 DFTCICS An attempt to attach to JVMSERVER
  DFH$AXIS has failed because the transaction abended.

  DFHJVMERR and DFHJVMOUT show that a java.lang.RuntimeException
  occurred due to the following reasons:
  
  org.apache.axis2.AxisFault:
  java.lang.RuntimeException: Error during Import. There was an
  error processing container DFHWS-REMOTELINK before
  deserialization
  
  Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Error during Import.
  There was an error processing container DFHWS-REMOTELINK before
  deserialization
  
  Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Length error importing
  DFHWS-REMOTELINK
  
  Caused by: Container DFHWS-REMOTELINK contains too much data,
  maximum expected data size is: 9.
  
  The customer application code does not use container
  DFHWS-REMOTELINK and it does not exits in the current channel.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users with UI39573 applied.         *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: AJ05 abend when running Axis2           *
  *                      Webservices with remote program.        *
  ****************************************************************
  An Axis2 Webservice is executed and a context switch occurs by
  changing the user ID or transaction ID.  The target program of
  the web service is defined as remote.  This causes CICS to
  create a DFHWS-REMOTELINK container with 13 bytes of data.
  When returning to the original pipeline task the container is
  reread by the CICS Axis2 code.  That expects the container to
  have 9 bytes of data.  The container has 13 bytes which causes a
  java.lang.RuntimeException to be thrown.

Problem conclusion

• UI39573
  
  ProgramLinkage.java has been updated to create the correct
  length data for container DFHWS-REMOTELINK.
