Error description
The Thruput Manager product issues a special version of the $HASP890 message when there is a long delay in obtaining an initiator. This message appears as: $HASP890 JOB(jjjjjjjj) STATUS(DELAY -ACTIVE here The EEWSERVE task does not handle this message which leads to an EEWI38I message and the job being marked in error on the distributed side, even though the job does eventually complete successfully on the z/OS side after an initiator is obtained. Messages seen in the SYSTSPRT of the EEWSERVE task include: EEWI07I 170104 030234 TASK UNIS0002 MODULE EEWTCP93 ISSUED, MACRO 'MCSOPMSG' NEAR LABEL 'M9304680' FOR 52 CHARACTER MESSAGE = $HASP8 90 JOB(jjjjjjjj) STATUS=(DELAY-Active Here ), EEWI07I 170104 030234 TASK UNIS0002 MODULE EEWTCP30 ISSUED, MACRO EZASMI TYPE=WRITE' NEAR LABEL 'M3006200' FOR 126 CHARACTER MESSAGE = QJR ... 2001 --EEWI38I PSEAXIO1(JOB07797) 120 0
