Error description

  • Integration server processes wait on interprocess communications
for admin requests and look in a file system directory for
direct deploys. Currently these are happening more often than
our standard 5 seconds interval and so leads to a higher cpu
usage for idle integration servers than previous releases.

To check for Queue Manager availability of Integration Nodes
configured with a default Queue Manager, an MQ connection
is frequently opened and tested. This leads to excessive
CPU usage from the frequent MQCONN/MQDISC calls.

Problem conclusion

  • The product has changed to poll every 5 seconds for admin
requests and maintain 1 MQ connection per process and test its
    viability.
