Error description

  • The &PARTITION Journal Control Field is presenting the value 0
    for a partitioned table.  This occurs if the table is added
    to a subscription using the Continuous Operation feature.

Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the Continuous Operation feature    *
    *                 who are adding a partitioned table to a      *
    *                 subscription, and are using the &PARTITION   *
    *                 Journal Control Field in any manner, at      *
    *                 either the source or the target side.        *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If a table is being added to a          *
    *                      subscription using the Continuous       *
    *                      Operation feature, when the table's     *
    *                      description is being collected for the  *
    *                      subscription, the determination whether *
    *                      the table is partitioned is not made.   *
    *                      This leaves the table being described   *
    *                      as non-partitioned, and so the          *
    *                      &PARTITION Journal Control Field is set *
    *                      with a value of 0 for every replicated  *
    *                      row.                                    *

    The &PARTITION Journal Control Field will be set to 0 for a
    partitioned table if the table was added to a subscription using
    the Continuous Operation feature.
