Error description
When running File Manager Compare Load Module (CLM) function multiple times within the same jobstep, field values in the 'Comparison summary' of the second and subsequent compares are incorrect. For example, when running the same compare twice in the same jobstep, the second Comparison summary will contain different field values than for the first compare. Also, when running multiple different compares in a jobstep, the second and subsequent compares show different Comparison summary values than if the second and subsequent compares are run as the only compare in a jobstep. This behavior is also received when using the FM Plug-in Compare Wizard for load modules. Example of same compare run twice within same jobstep: //STEP1 EXEC PGM=FILEMGR,REGION=1M ... //SYSIN DD * $$FILEM SET HEADERPG=NO,PAGESIZE=60,PRTTRANS=OFF $$FILEM SET CCSID=00037 $$FILEM CLM , $$FILEM CMPLVL=CSECT, $$FILEM LMODC=(SIZE,DATE), $$FILEM CSECTC=(SIZE), $$FILEM LIST=SUMMARY, $$FILEM HILIGHT=YES, $$FILEM CHNGDFLD=YES, $$FILEM NUMDIFF=ALL, $$FILEM DSNOLD=FMN.V12.SFMNMOD1(FMNMOD1), $$FILEM DSNNEW=FMN.V13.SFMNMOD1(FMNMOD1) $$FILEM CLM , $$FILEM CMPLVL=CSECT, $$FILEM LMODC=(SIZE,DATE), $$FILEM CSECTC=(SIZE), $$FILEM LIST=SUMMARY, $$FILEM HILIGHT=YES, $$FILEM CHNGDFLD=YES, $$FILEM NUMDIFF=ALL, $$FILEM DSNOLD=FMN.V12.SFMNMOD1(FMNMOD1), $$FILEM DSNNEW=FMN.V13.SFMNMOD1(FMNMOD1) Comparison summary for 1st CLM - Comparison summary: Differences on load module level: 3 Old CSECT processed: 69 New CSECT processed: 73 Matching CSECT found: 17 Changed CSECT found: 52 Old CSECT deleted: 0 New CSECT inserted: 4 Synchronization: Load module Comparison type: Formatted Comparison level: CSECT Listing type: Summary Load module criteria: Name Size Link date and time CSECT criteria: Size Comparison summary for 2nd CLM: Comparison summary: Differences on load module level: 1 Old CSECT processed: 69 New CSECT processed: 73 Matching CSECT found: 3 Changed CSECT found: 66 Old CSECT deleted: 0 New CSECT inserted: 4 Synchronization: Load module Comparison type: Formatted Comparison level: CSECT Listing type: Summary Load module criteria: Name Size Entry point address CSECT criteria: Address
