    Stack Trace: N/A
    .

Local fix

  • The libcsulcca.so library can be installed on the system prior
to creating a new package to meet the dependency introduced by
    the IBMJCECCA component.

Problem summary

  • In the IBM Java SDK for Linux the IBMJCECCA libraries named
libHIKM.so and libTHIKM.so link with the libcsulcca.so library
at build time. The SUSE distribution team repackages the IBM SDK
which includes our libHIKM.so and libTHIKM.so files. During the
repackaging process a failure occurs since SUSE does not by
default have the libcsulcca.so library installed and
dependencies are not met. Changes are needed such that we no
longer have a dependency during the packaging process.

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Java SDK has been updated such that the libHIKM.so and
libTHIKM.so libraries dynamically load the libcsulcca.so library
at runtime instead of linking to it during the build process. An
error will no longer occur during repackaging of the IBM SDK.
