APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using FM/IMS Batch Browse (IBB) function with external
  REXX functions VAL_FLD or TFLD, incorrect data is returned
  unless they are preceded by a PRINT function.
  
  Sample VAL_FLD REXX external function within IBB:
  
   Correct data returned with:
    VIEWIMS
    GETIMS    (without using view)
    PRINT
    VAL_FLD
  
  
    Incorrect data returned with:
     VIEWIMS
     GETIMS   (without using view)
     VAL_FLD
  
      -or-
  
     VIEWIMS
     GETIMS   (without using view)
     VAL_FLD
     PRINT
     VAL_FLD
  
  
  In addition, the File Manager User's Guide and Reference syntax
  diagram for the TFLD external REXX function is incorrect,
  commas are not shown to separate parameters.
