Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of WebSphere Message Broker v8.0 and IBM Integration
Bus v9.0 and v10.0 using the embedded global cache.

    Platforms affected:
    z/OS, MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The embedded global cache is a WebSphere eXtreme Scale (WXS)
grid, which consists of WXS catalog and container servers that
are hosted in the execution group's process. Therefore, the
catalog and container servers share their Java virtual machines
(JVMs) with all other components that are running in the
execution group and the lifecycle of each cache server is tied
to the lifecycle of the execution group in which it is hosted.

The execution group process hosting the embedded global cache
can experience Java out of memory exceptions and an increase in
CPU consumption. This is due to WXS APAR PI70751, where a large
number of threads are spawned when attempting to restart the
catalog server in the case of a network partition with another
    catalog server.

There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. For details
