Error description
(1) When a program abends code execution is immediately interrupted and control is passed to system (eventually passing for an estae routine) so that the returned parameter list could not be set at all and return code could not be filled up. This is true also for EQQYCOM and we can better document this in the TWSz manuals : this problem case, R15(REXX predefined rc variable) is not same as return_code in EQQYCOM parm, that is violation to manual statement. . (2) In Managing the Workload, chapter "Reporting with Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS" section "Setting up the database in the distributed environment" the file names referenced are not the correct ones. . In the first sentence change "use the product CD that contains the EQQD2* files" to "use the product CD that contains the TWSZ* files". After this change "EQQD2ZIP" to "TWSZDB2.zip" and "EQQD2TAR" to "TWSZDB2.tar". (3) Even if ALEACTION is set to 0, the generated alert actions might be issued with some seconds of delay. The ALEACTION parameter description should clarify the "as soon as" sentence. . (4) For Messages and Codes EQQE009I there should be 10 values listed instead of 9. TYPE09VALUE09 needs to be changed to TYPE10VALUE10 and a new value added: . V10 Number of operations whose value changed to X since the last message . This value will be displayed in the message as "NEW DUMMY COMP OPERATIONS" . (5) Change INIT statement in Driving for zos manual : The INIT statement defines the run-time options for processing requests that are sent to Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS a PIF application. The parameters specified in the INIT statement override the settings specified in the INIT request of the PIF application. INIT is defined in the parameter file identified by the EQQYPARM DD statement in the JCL of the PIF application and in the parameter file identified by the EQQPARM DD statement in the server procedure.
