    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * Abends may occur in an application address space when the *
    * queue manager is configured with a non-zero ACELIM setting *
    * and the ACELIM limit is reached. The queue manger *
    * subsequently terminates with an S6C6-00F3040C abend. *

    * None                                                         *
    ****************************************************************
    An S0C1, S0C4, or S0C6 abend may occur in the application
    address space or Channel Initiator address space after exceeding
    any configured ACELIM limit for the queue manager when
    attempting to issue the CSQY228I console messages. The invalid
    PSW address when cross referenced to the queue manager address
    space will be at entry to the CSQFGENM module. This problem is
    caused by a failure to perform a space-switch before attempting
    to issue the console message.

Problem conclusion

  • Processing has been amended to ensure that a space-switch to the
    queue manager address space is performed when necessary, prior
    to issuing the console message.
