  • File Manager has been modified to reduce the CPU
utilization of the FCH utility. For non VSAM files the
usage of the keyword PACK=NONE along with
JCL=NONE will be required to see the performance
improvements.
File Manager Enhanced Search has been changed to
search with PACK=NONE as default and the PACK
option can now be specified from the panel or via
the command line.
