APAR status

Error description

  • Customer using File Manager IMS GUI Plugin first time looking at
    the database it works fine however the second time customer
    receives message FMNBA033 Not authorized for LDBD SSID=XXXX.
    It appears that File Manager IMS GUI  is incorrectly
    checking the RACF facility class for the LDBD Function

    1. The problem occurs when the FM/IMS plug-in reuses a spawned
    FM/IMS task.
    2. The plug-in issues this message if the FM/IMS administrator
    doesn't specify values for the TPLLIB= parameters in the FM/IMS
    installation options module and the user doesn't specify
    Template libraries in the Edit IMS Subsystem Configuration
    dialog box. It issues the message when the Use template check
    box is checked and also when it is not checked.
    It should, however, only issue the message when the Use Template
    check box is checked.
    3. The problem occurs when the spawned task fails to detach its
    subtasks before it shuts down
    

Problem conclusion

  • FM/IMS has been modified to correct these problems.
