Error description

  • THIS ENHANCEMENT INTRODUCES A NEW PARAMETER FOR THE OUTPUT
COLLECTOR COMPONENT, OUTPUTWTRID(YES/NO), WITH DEFAULT VALUE SET
TO NO. WHEN THE PARAMETER VALUE IS YES EACH ZCENTRIC JOB OUTPUT
COLLECTED IS WRITTEN TO THE SPECIFIED JES SYSOUT CLASS WITH
THE WRITER ID (SDSF WTR OR IOF WTRID) FILLED WITH THE JOB NAME.
THIS ENHANCEMENT ALLOWS AN EASIER CONFIGURATION OF THE OUTPUT
COLLECTOR TO WORK WITH SOME NON-IBM ARCHIVER SUCH AS CA-VIEW.

    ****************************************************************
This APAR implements a new parameter for the OUCOPTS
initialization statement. The new parameter is OUTPUTWTRID
and can be set to YES or NO, with NO as default value.
When YES is specified the job name will be used to fill the
WRITER ID field (SDSF WTR or IOF WTRID) when the job output
is written to the specified JES SYSOUT class.
This parameter enables the usage of the Output Collector
feature for customers using CA View as archiver on z/OS.
