PI62901: ABEND U3999 WITH MESSAGE: EQQ0000T MODULE: EQQBSFS , REASON: STOROVLY SEEN AFTER REMOVING FTAS FROM THE TOPOLOGY

Error description

• An abend U3999 is seen after removing FTAs from the TOPOLOGY.
  Dump symptoms are:

  The abend is reproducible in the following way:
  - defining work stations
  - defining applications that refer these work stations
  - deleting some (more than 12) ws but we do not change the
    the applications that refer them.
  - running an LTP create
  .
  The correct procedur for removing FTAs from the TOPOLOGY
  however (as documented in technote 1156448 is:
  After all references to the old workstation have been removed
  from the AD
  database, the LTP, and the CP, then remove the workstation from
  the AD, and
  from the TOPOLOGY. It will then be deleted from the TWSz ISPF
  dialogs by the
  next CP EXTEND/REPLAN batch job.

  An LTP batch job could end with abend U3999 and REASON:STOROVLY
  when it runs after some work stations are deleted without
  modifying the applications that refer them.
  

Problem conclusion

• The length of the DURATION area was too small,
  now it is increased.
