• Customer complained that Queue Manager is terminated with
  abend  5C6-00F30230 afer issuing 'STOP QMGR MODE(FORCE)':

  The 5C6-00F30230 abend issued by CSQ3SSLM is due to the STOP
  MODE(FORCE) causing an (expected) 5C6-00E50013 abend when a
  CHIN thread is in the  middle of disconnection processing
  (Termination Identify).
  This is the  same situation as in DB2 APAR PK37947.

  CSQ3SSLM finds an EXB control block connected to an allied
  address space and generates abend 5C6-00F30230.
  

Problem conclusion

• If queue manager is shutdown with command STOP QMGR MODE(FORCE)
  the abend 5C6-00F30230 is not generated and the EXB control
  blocks are freed allowing the complete termination of the queue
  manager.
