Error description

  • Changes in CICS TS v5.2 cause the INQUIRE_APP_CONTEXT XPI to

    * This APAR provides the ability to use INITIAL or CURRENT *
    * application context to capture application associated data *
    * within your CICS region or regions. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    * Apply the PTF and perform the HOLD ACTION items. *
    ****************************************************************
    When you require CICS IA to collect Application Data it will now
    capture INITIAL or CURRENT application context as an application
    associated data depending on your desire.
    To use this feature in CICS IA plug-in you will need to upgrade
    your CICS Explorer IA plug-in to 5.3.2.

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been changed to give the customer an option to choose
    what application context will be gathered collecting Application
