PI60242: WMQ CSQN212E COMMAND SERVER ERROR PUTTING TO REPLY TO QUEUE MQRC2052

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Change Team finds in the CHIN, InquireChannelNames
  issues a MQCMD_INQUIRE_CHANNEL PCF command to return
  channels which have a non-blank certificate label, creating
  a permanent dynamic queue for the response messages. If the
  first PCF response message indicates 'none found' then it
  immediately closes and deletes the dynamic queue.
  However, there is another PCF response message which
  needs to be put to the queue, to indicate 'command failed'.
  In this case the put of this will fail with MQRC 2052,
  MQRC_Q_DELETED, indicated by CSQN212E and CSQN203I messages.
  Prior to PI52740/UI34415 the CSQN212E message would not
  occur as the permanent dynamic queue was never deleted.
  However, the 'command failed' message would not have been
  got from the queue in this situation.
  Note that there is no impact to the MQ CHIN when CSQN212E
  is generated in this scenario.

  Function InquireChannelNames (cmqxrssm) deletes the permanent
  dynamic reply queue before all response messages from PCF
  command MQCMD_INQUIRE_CHANNEL have been processed.
  
  The messages that are not processed, are purged when the reply
  queue is deleted. These messages are not required for the
  successful completion of the InquireChannelNames function.
  

Problem conclusion

• Function InquireChannelNames (cmqxrssm) has been changed to
  process all response messages before closing and deleting the
  reply queue.
