Error description
In the following document: Creating an application server instance for Rational Team Concert on a WebSphere Application Server distributed server cluster http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSUS84_7.5.2.4/com.ib m.ram.installguide.doc/topics/t_was_cluster_create_single_node.h tml?lang=en It states "Because you cannot deploy Rational Team Concert to a cluster, you must create an additional application server that is separate from your clustered servers. You can then deploy Rational Team Concert to that server." It is true that RTC 4x/5x are not officially supported in a cluster as per the system requirements: System Requirements for IBM Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) 5.0, 5.0.1 and 5.0.2 https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/CLMSystemRequirements5 0 However, RTC can be deployed to a cluster given that the cluster has only one node/server (probably because there is no workload management happening if there is only one server). CLM supports WAS ND but not for high availability clustering. A more accurate statement may be "Rational Team Concert can be deployed to a cluster, but the cluster must contain only one server".
