APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a error is generated on a agent call the error is returned
    to the client side.  If the class in the error is not found on
    the client side the client will throw a classNotFoundException
    and wait for the agent to timeout instead of ending the agent
    call at the exception.

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    Agent invocations that return exception classes not found on
    the client are timing out rather than ending quickly, causing
    unnecessary delays.  The code will now detect the
    ClassNotFoundException and allow the operation to error out
    quickly.
    

Problem conclusion
