APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • RAAz clients using other security products on z/OS besides RACF
    may typically not have access to RACF's LISTUSER command, which
    RAAz used to a limited degree during runtime.  Error logged in
    RAA logs would be similar to:
    
     RaaRestWar SEVERE: USER not found in LISTUSER output.

    ATTRIBUTES
    RACF PRODUCT DISABLED: COMMAND ENDED.

Local fix

  • none known.
    

Problem summary

  • RACF LISTUSER command was used by RAA for System z in certain
    situations, which produced an error for clients that don't have
    RACF installed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Code was changed to use REXX code instead of LISTUSER command.
