    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    1- Q Apply may aggressively cache internal row structures when
    applying source workload that has very small sized row changes.
    When the workload later shifts to using large sized row
    changes, the cache cannot be effectively reused leading to
    excessive memory usage and memory exhaustion.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

Comments

  • 1- Q Apply is fixed to use less memory for internal row
    structures and to release row cache memory when no longer
    needed.
